Its often been said that we live in the lucky country. Penny recognises not everyone has had the opportunities she had. So we where we can, we give back.  Here are some of the organisations that we support.

For many years we supported the Delta Society through volunteer work as a Dog Therapy Team, with our beloved spoodle pooch Chloe. We visited institutions such as aged care facilities and a last resort home for teenage kids.

By sharing Chloe with the residents of these communities, we brought a little bit of happiness to their lives. COVID and Chloe’s age have meant we have now retired as a Dog Team, but we remain supportive of this organisation, knowing the very real benefits the companionship of animals can bring.

Growing up in western NSW gives us a great appreciation of the amazing job the doctors and nurses of the Royal Flying Doctor Service do for rural and regional Australia. A very personal experience some years ago has led us to be a supporter of this organisation.

This is such a simple thing to do, and we are proud to be a supporter by being regular blood donors. More than a third of blood donated goes to those suffering from cancer. Having lost family and friends to that wicked, insidious disease, in our small way we are helping fight it.
